The Portsmouth Indoor Pool is proud to be a Gold Level Learn-to-Swim Provider with the American Red Cross. Our Learn-to-Swim program takes an inclusive approach, emphasizing skill development alongside water safety and drowning prevention education. By allowing swimmers to master one skill before progressing to the next, our classes help build both confidence and competence in the water.
All instructors are certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors.
If you are unsure about your child’s swim level, please contact the pool at (603) 427-1546 before registering.
During the first class, instructors will assess each swimmer's skills. If needed, swimmers may be moved to a more appropriate level; however, please note that the pool cannot guarantee an available spot in another class if the original placement was incorrect.
Registration
- Group swim lesson registration is available in person or online on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 9:00 a.m. on the posted registration date.
- Payment is due in full at the time of registration.
- Registration closes at the end of the first week of lessons.
- All classes require a minimum enrollment to run; cancellations will be made one week prior to the session start date if enrollment is insufficient.
