During camp, skaters will learn basic skateboard terminology, safety, and beginner to more advanced tricks dependent upon skill level. Students will work on riding, turning, stopping, dropping in, and learn the science and process behind ollies, kickflips, and other tricks. Park etiquette will also be covered. Students will paint a skateboard deck that they can take with them at the end of camp.
- Equipment is not provided. Participants will need a skateboard, helmet, and pads.
- Please bring a snack and water and wear sunscreen when appropriate.
